Paramount Baptist Church is a new facility for a previously different named church which had grown beyond its capacity. The board at the church built the new building envisioning a steady growth in the congregation with exponential growth in its youth membership. To date the new facility has been a good vision for that growth. The church, as with most churches, was built with a clear span roof for the main sanctuary. To accomplish this, the engineer designed 8' deep wide flange trusses spanning approximately 140'. With its high pitched roof the trusses and associated framing all come together to form a compression focal point in the center of the building, creating a very high ceiling accentuated by hidden lighting. An ultra modern façade finishes off the new era look of churches being built today.
